National trainers are trained in the Republic of Kazakhstan. In many areas, trainers provide practical trainings for nurses. The length of the training is 54 hours, divided into two training sessions (3 days + 2 days). There is a period of practice between these training sessions.

First Master Class: Training of Trainers of Nursing Clinical Guidelines on “Diabetes” and “Risk Assessment of Cardiovascular Diseases was on December 2018. The second, “Training of Trainers of Nursing Clinical Guideline on “Pain management” or “Stroke management”, was on September 2019. The third Master class, Training of Trainers of Nursing Clinical Guidelines on “Heart failure” and “Cardiac rehabilitation” will be on autumn 2020.

The aim of these Master classes is to educate confident professionals to lead (plan, implement and evaluate) guideline trainings for nurses. Training enhances participant’s competences on pedagogy (adult learning principles, current pedagogical methods for education), evidence-based nursing and introduces the participants to the framework, structure and the content of the trainings. In addition, the methods for implementation and evaluation will be trained to the participants.
